REPORT SYSTEM :

1. On CSV file format, it would be a good idea if you can show ALL components & product items (…even it not sold that day) in fixed cell position (sort by category & alphabetically), so after saved into Drive/Dropbox/etc. then a Windows based accounting software can retract daily sales data more easily into their chart of account (COA).

2. Uploading Sales Report into Drive/Dropbox/etc. can be done without opening those apps (cause I put it on locked & need a pin to open). So I think W&O POS could asked 1 time permission to those cloud apps, limited just to upload files to selected folder, and no need to open any cloud apps after that.

3. Sales Report (both csv & png) would be better if it show complete name of the restaurant above, ongoing Order Number, and other useful information.

4. Hope that there’s an option to reset Order Number automatically on monthly based or quarterly based. This is quite important in order to compare number of transactions each month.

5. Sharing PNG files through WhatsApp/BBM/other IM is not working after last update. I don’t think any Raptors or other expensive POS could’ve done this… So this feature is a huge advantage

6. Option to password or PIN protected Sales Report that shared to WhatsApp/BBM/other IM

7. Option to save Report in PDF file, with a slight different positions to adapt with Letter/A4 paper format.

MODIFIER :

1. Option for a Modifier Category to act as a mandatory modifier, so in a transaction it should be chosen, and modifier window will not close before 1 or 2 modifier selected. This could cause chaos in the kitchen… believe me…

2. Option to choose only 1 Modifier in a Modifier Category, so cashier can’t pick 2 modifiers in 1 Modifier Category accidentally. This happens several times…

3. Option to set maximum numbers of each modifier selected, in the Settings area of course. Sometimes items in the menu can use 2 or 3 modifiers, sometimes it only just need 1 modifier.

PC BASED :

And last but not least… I’ve been using W&O POS in Windows PC since December 2014. I’m using Bluestacks software (It’s free!!!) as the most popular android emulator.
And now with Windows 10, it’s working perfectly with PC Printer Adapter installed on the same PC. It’s working awesome & so much advantage compared to tablets…

But setting up for the first time could be tricky, especially in IP address setting to connect Bluestacks with PC Printer Adapter.
Hope you can configure a better way and release a pdf guide to use W&O POS in a Windows PC with Bluestacks installed.
