First off, I love the app. Better than any other I’ve tried. So… I read the older suggestion on limits for modifiers which seems to have been implemented. However, I believe this should be corrected.
All modifiers should be optional. You can add a maximum for each modifier, but not force an exact number as it is currently setup. A modifier should be a prompt, not a requirement.
Here is an example of why… A customer orders a Tito’s martini, chilled, extra dry, extra dirty, 3 olives, lemon twist, and dirty ice on the side. That’s many modifiers. Another person can come in and just ask for a Tito’s martini, no modifier. The current system doesn’t allow for an automatic prompt that allows any number of modifiers.
It’s a limitation that can easily be fixed. Remove the must quantity for modifiers and replace with a maximum amount. So the system will then be set up to automatically prompt you for a modifier but allow as many as you want up to a maximum or none at all.
